As a school we are committed to developing the children's skills and enjoyment across of a range of arts activites, as both part of the taught curriculum and also across all areas fo school life.

A minimum of 12% curriculum time is spent on the Arts across music, art, dance and drama. We also run a wide range of after school clubs related to the arts.

The school has a tradition of presenting performances throughout the year to parents, Governors and the wider community, for example, Christmas and whole Key Stage 2 performance in the summer. Arts days or events are organised where children and staff develop skills and understanding by working with professionals for example Harlow Carr mural project and Harrogate Theatre.

The children have worked alongside Northern Ballet and The Lock In Dance group. A group of children take part in The York Dance Festival each year.

Our choir has taken part in a wide range of concerts throughout 2012 and 2013, including the Family Christmas Concert at Harrogate International Centre and The Young Voices Concert at Sheffield Arena.
