Below are the sessions for the wider curriculum this week. The live sessions will be on zoom the same as last half term and any resources you need for these can be found below. Please do not worry if you cannot make the live sessions as you can still access the work using the links below.

Monday: Total Sports PE recorded session
Please have a look at the link below. The coaches at Total sports have created video lessons so you can stay active at home.

Monday: Art Live lesson @ 1.15pm
This week we are going to be looking at sketching portraits again. We will recap on what we learnt last half term, look at and discuss some different portraits of Queen Elizabeth II and then you will have a go at recreating a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. Below is the PowerPoint we will be working through and also the picture that we will be recreating.

Tuesday: Science Live lesson @ 1.15pm
Today we will begin our new topic for this half term, Animals including Humans. Our focus will be on Muscles and Skeletons. This week we will look at the three different types of skeleton and the activity will be to sort animals into these categories.

LO: To name the three different types of skeleton and sort animals based on their skeleton.

Below is the PowerPoint that we will work through during our taught session, the activity sheet (you can choose the challenge that you complete either red, amber or green) and a knowledge organiser that you may find useful for this topic.

Wednesday: Jigsaw/PSHE live lesson @ 1.15pm
This half term, our learning will be about 'Health Me'.

LO: To understand how exercise affects my body.
Please upload this onto teams once it is completed.

Thursday: Theme live lesson @1.15pm
This half term, we will be learning about Continents and Oceans.

Today we will focus on naming and locating the 7 Continents and 5 Oceans of the world.

Our task today, is to write atleast one interesting fact about each of the Continents and Oceans. This is explained in more detail on the powerpoints and will be discussed in detail in our live lesson.

Friday: Music recorded session

Friday: RE live lesson @1:15PM - PS Bring your dancing shoes!

This half term, we will be focusing on the question " Why are festivals important to religious communities?"

LO: To be able to explain why Diwali is significant to Hindus.
