This week we will be carrying out some assessments to see where we may have to target specific aspects of teaching. If you are not in school, please have a go at the activities in this Pobble ‘Nellie the Elephant. We would like you to have a go on your own and make sure you at least continue to write your own story from the story starter on the first page.

Wider Curriculum

We will also be focusing a lot on wellbeing activities this week as we settle the children back into school life. Please get your child to have a go at the activities below if they are not in school.

Activity 1: Think about your strengths and abilities and draw a picture of you doing these on a piece of plain A4 paper (It might be more than one). Write a statement at the bottom to describe the picture that begins with ‘I can’. E.g. I can make people smile. I can ride my bike a long way. I can draw good pictures. I can say my times tables quickly.
Activity 2: Have a go at colouring in one of these positivity words and phrases.
