WC 6th July

04 Jul 2020

Hi 4/5R,

It's already July, so not long to go now.  Hopefully the weather will improve this week so you can get outside a little.  Remember, it's Sports Week, so try to take part in the activities if you can (you can find details on my previous post).
I've also inlcuded some activities for the wider curriculum subjects for you to have a go at.

Geography

L.O. To discover more about the Amazon Rainforest and compare it with a forest in the UK

Read through the short PowerPoint and watch the videos to learn more about the Amazon Rainforest and Sherwood Forest in the UK.  There are 2 activities you could try. Use the information from the fact sheets below to help you complete the'Comparing Forests' worksheet.  Alternatively, you could use the information you have learnt, along with some of your own research, to create a double page spread about the Amazon Rainforest.

Both activites should take quite a while to complete, so I will give you 2 weeks to do them.
