Hi 5/6F,

Hope you've all had a good start to the week. Below are some website suggestions in case the work you have been given is not keeping you busy enough! I will keep updating them so make sure you check the date on the page - I will put when it has been updated with the date.

General ideas:

Twinkl Home Learning Hub - lots of ideas for activities at home (changes daily)

The Week Junior - This page is on FaceBook but the children's magazine is running daily challenges during the Easter break.


KS2 Bitesize - videos, activities and facts to keep your historical knowledge developing

KS2 Bitesize Geography - develop your geography knowledge with lots of fun activities on this site

National Geographic Games - lots of fun and interesting games to play.

National Geographic Discover - a great website for developing your knowledge of interesting facts

Geography Quizzes - test your knowledge of topics we have covered in school (or your own general knowledge of the world)

History Quizzes - lots of great questions for budding historians

Google Earth - a fab site for learning about the world and practising your knowledge of directions - I wonder where we all travel to

Natural History Museum - Take a tour of some of the exhibitions from the comfort of your home - you could write your visit up in your diary.


KS2 Bitesize - keep up your knowledge of science with all of the fun ideas and activities

Science Quizzes - a great way to test your great science knowledge of the learning we have done

PE/Wellbeing (some of these I have listed on other pages):

Youth Sport Trust - lots of great ideas to keep the whole family active

Go Noodle Good Energy - lots of fun with these dancing videos

PE at Home - a large range of activities for in the house and out in the garden

Joe Wicks - Joe is creating a storm vowing to get the whole world active whilst you can't be in school

Harrogate Sports Partnership - a variety of activities to help promote mindfulness and well being whilst being active

Chance to Shine - parents can sign up to the teacher portal to find a selection of different cricket related activities with video instructions

Real PE Weekly Planner - great ideas to keep the children busy and active all week (you will need to register for a password to access the resources)

Home Personal Best - See above update to explain this exciting idea

Art and DT:

Easy, Peasy and Fun - have a go at some of these fun and creative ideas

National Gallery - take a tour around the national gallery and get inspired to create your own piece of art
