The COVID-19 pandemic poses serious challenges for families and schools. This is a confusing and scary time for children and adults alike. Teachers and staff are working hard to support families through this crisis. Many parents are juggling different priorities, including work and caring responsibilities, alongside home schooling. But these are not normal times and parents should not feel under pressure to replicate the classroom at home, this simply is not possible.

What ever you can do to help your child is all we ask for. Everyone has a different set of circumstances and every family is different - homeschooling isn't a competition and no one should be put under pressure by others. We are here to help you if you need us - please email teachers or the admin@killinghall.n-yorks.sch.uk

Remote learning does not mean that children should be sitting in front of live lessons all day in line; it means a combination of strategies including time for independent work. Our remote learning offer explains this.
