Killinghall C.E. Primary School

All publicly funded schools receive additional funding known as Pupil Premium Funding. It is designed to support eligible pupils and help to raise attainment, promote progress and reduce barriers to learning. A school's allocated pupil premium funding is calculated by the number of children in the school who are eligible for free school meals, who are looked after in care or from an Armed Forces family.

At Killinghall Church of England Primary School, we recognise that every child is unique and that some pupils may require additional support or opportunities in order to achieve their full potential. We use our Pupil Premium funding strategically to provide targeted support, remove barriers to learning and ensure that eligible pupils can fully participate in all aspects of school life. The Pupil Premium funding is spent in a specific way to ensure pupils access support and wider opportunities, in the hope of ensuring these pupils achieve their full potential.

At Killinghall CE, decisions about expenditure are informed by the needs of our children and are regularly reviewed to ensure that the funding has a positive impact on each pupil's progress, attainment and wider development. All schools are required to publish information about their Pupil Premium funding, how it is planned and spent, and the impact of the support provided.
