OFSTED 2022 - Good with outstanding early years.

Welcome to Killinghall CE Primary School where we 'always treat others as we would wish to be treated'. Matthew 7:12

As the Headteacher of Killinghall CE Primary School, it is a pleasure to have this opportunity to welcome you to our school.

Despite our growth in pupil numbers and the expansion of classroom space over the last few years, we continue to be 'a village school' for children aged 4 - 11. We are situated just outside Harrogate.

We are a caring school where individual happiness truly matters. We are passionate about ensuring that each child can be the best that they can be - well-being and pastoral care are a high priority in achieving this.

Our vision drives all that we do:

ENCOURAGING enjoyment and understanding of the world we live in.

INSPIRING everyone to flourish on their own individual learning journey.

OFFERING ourselves and believing that we can all make a difference.

Close links between home and school are encouraged, with parents welcome to take an active part in the life of the school.

I hope you will find the information on this website both interesting and helpful.

Sarah Bassitt - Headteacher.

With apologies to those that have already paid for these workshops but we are £240.00 short on payment We deliberately let parents have advanced notice of the two exciting workshops so that budget management was easier for you. The first on 2nd November was a real success with the children gaining so much knowledge around diversity. The second on 16th November is to be led by Brian Beresford spreading effective anti-bullying messages through the medium of song. We combined the cost of the two workshops in to one charge splitting the costs differently across the age groups according to what is being offered to the children. Unicorns £2, KS1 £2.50, KS2 £3.50. We are doing our best to get the lowest cost options possible for all visits and give as much advance notice as possible. Although these are voluntary contributions, we do need as many payments as possible please. If you can log in to Parent Pay and make a payment that would really help us. Many thanks Helen
