OFSTED 2022 - Good with outstanding early years.

Welcome to Killinghall CE Primary School where we 'always treat others as we would wish to be treated'. Matthew 7:12

As the Headteacher of Killinghall CE Primary School, it is a pleasure to have this opportunity to welcome you to our school.

Despite our growth in pupil numbers and the expansion of classroom space over the last few years, we continue to be 'a village school' for children aged 4 - 11. We are situated just outside Harrogate.

We are a caring school where individual happiness truly matters. We are passionate about ensuring that each child can be the best that they can be - well-being and pastoral care are a high priority in achieving this.

Our vision drives all that we do:

ENCOURAGING enjoyment and understanding of the world we live in.

INSPIRING everyone to flourish on their own individual learning journey.

OFFERING ourselves and believing that we can all make a difference.

Close links between home and school are encouraged, with parents welcome to take an active part in the life of the school.

I hope you will find the information on this website both interesting and helpful.

Sarah Bassitt - Headteacher.

    PTA Family Easter Hunt.
We would like to invite you to participate in our PTA Family Easter Hunt from Saturday 1st April – Sunday 16th April (School Easter Holidays). We will provide you with a map to help you in your search for the 11 letters from the alphabet that will be displayed around the village. The letters will be an anagram that needs to be unscrambled to reveal our Easter-themed word/s. If you would like to get involved please email pta@killinghall.n-yorks.sch.uk (no later than than Friday 31stMarch) and we will email a map back to you. In your email, you will need to include the name and class of each child participating so that we can send them an Easter treat in their book bags after the holidays. If siblings who don’t attend school want to join in you can tell us their name and the class of their brother or sister in school and we will make sure they get a treat too. The cost is £1 per child, adults go free. We are charging £1 per child as each child will receive an Easter treat. Please pay via this BOPP link https://bopp.app/link/4q87n (using your surname as the reference): When you have completed the hunt, please email us with your unscrambled Easter word/s (no later than 17th April) and we will send out the Easter treats that week. What a great opportunity for fun, family time in the fresh air (however you choose to do it; walking, on scooters or bikes). We look forward to receiving your entries. Thank you so much, Killinghall PTA
