Dear Parents,

Thank you to those who were able to attend last night’s parent workshop on the impact of smartphones and digital devices on primary-aged children. It was an important and timely discussion and we were fortunate to be joined by four expert speakers who shared valuable insights and research; particularly around the influence of social media and messaging platforms like WhatsApp on young minds.

For those who couldn’t attend, we’ve attached the presentations from the evening so you can still access the information and reflect on the key messages shared.

We’ll also be sending out a short parental survey to help us better understand your views and experiences. This feedback will play an important role in shaping how we move forward as a school community on this issue.

We truly believe that meaningful change can only happen when schools and families work together. These conversations are just the beginning and we hope to see even more of you at future events, including a follow-up workshop planned for the spring or summer term.
